dc.description.abstractIn article the system dynamics model of competition in the proprietary software market is presented, trends of this market and the influence of these trends to the global economy are analysed, scenario’s of behaviour of system according to presented model are described, problem of concentration of capital because of functioning of proprietary software system is identified. Model shows how the software market goes to economically not reasonable distribution of capital. Current known possible solutions of problems are looked round. Two types of solution are presented and analysed: (1) quantitative solution, on egg. special law obligating using of standards and (2) qualitative solution, egg. promotion of using of free software. The main conclusion is that quantitative solution could not solve the global problem. Efficiency of solution of using of free software was proved.en
