Abstract
The article deals with the relation between the awareness of philosophical text
and abilities to interpret and analyze it. Since the purpose of philosophy course is not only knowledge
as terminative whole but also developing of thinking, students’ skills of independent and critical
contemplation have become very important. Material and measure for education consist of
philosophical texts stipulating and solving certain problems that have to be perceived. The nature of
interactive philosophical studies is being emphasized in seeking for connections between the manner
of philosophical problem raising and particular needs of youth. The article presents the methods of
work in pairs and small groups during seminars and investigates their influence on students’ abilities
to reflect philosophical text authentically. Interactive model of philosophical studies helps to perceive
the problems of philosophical texts and content measures as well as develops personal knowledge-
based and true-life experience.
