Abstract

This article investigates the achievements of the new legal history science and its determining factors during: a) the 1918-1940 independence; b) over fifty years of Soviet times; c) emigration; d) the period of regained independence. This article describes the results of the research as well as its shortages and certain issues within this area of science.
