The aim of the article is to explore new trends in customs intermediaries, to reveal the character of the international supply chain ensuring the circulation of counterfeit products. The problem is that while the customs intermediaries conception is relatively new in Lithuania and is not analyzed in detail. Constantly changing business environment, the diversity of customs, basically changes customs and trade relationships, to join forces to tackle the international supply chain security and reliability issues. Customs intermediaries have new functions, in turn, influenced by changes in customs. Implementation of the customs legislation of the country and the requirements of public safety and security, statistics collection, tax administration, analysis, and other purposes , the international movement of goods are recorded and controlled by customs offices. The article concludes that changes in customs intermediaries functions, respectively, must change their legal status, which is to protect the legitimate interests represented as a full-fledged legal relations.
