Abstract
Scientists gave a various opinions about the individual’s ability to lead, so there is often a smothering debate about what should be the leader and what he needs in order to maintain the coherence of the organization in order to increase it’s entrepreneurship or achieve it’s goals. The article analyzes what qualities should be characterized leaders and what skills and competences they need. Notwithstanding the accumulated knowledge and huge investments in management, many organizations recognize the lack of successful leaders, and so it is still in search of and examining what the leader needs to be. Based on the insights and research carried out by Lithuanian and foreign scientists, this article presents an additional set of personal qualities with purified professional qualities. These qualities are in line with the needs of the organizations being research, may be useful in developing future leaders.
