This research analyzes the phenomenon of re-offending, its risk factors and their interactions. The main goal of the study was to investigate the predictive power of the re-offending risk factors. The analysis was carried out, and study has showed that repeated criminal behavior is predictable by static and dynamic risk factors, including personality, social context variables. In conclusion we can assume that re-offending is associated with both psychological and social risk factors. The established predictive power of risk factors for criminal behavior shows that these factors may become the target of offender future changes, so the intervention and corrective measures need to be taken into account to all the risk factors associated to individual and his environment.
