Investicijų į atsinaujinančių išteklių energetiką rizikų vertinimas ir valdymas suinteresuotų šalių aspektu
Abstract
Traditional planning of projects related to investment in energy used to be based on relatively cheap
technologies, whereas the market functioned in the environment, where then prices of raw materials
and energy were predictable and the rate of technological progress was low; however, in the modern
environment, planning of investment in energy is a lot more complicated in view of the predominant,
uncertainty and risk. The object of the studies is management of risk of investment into renewable
energy. The objective of the thesis is to develop an integrated risk management model of investment
into renewable energy sources, taking into account the interests of the stakeholders; to verify its features
and suitability through assessment of risk related to specific investment projects into energy
from renewable sources in Lithuania.
An integrated model of assessment of investment efficiency into the renewable energy, reflecting different
perspectives of the stakeholders, allows the groups of stakeholders to take a deeper look at the
risk associated with the renewable energy sources and to assess possibilities to manage the same risk.
The thesis includes alternative scenarios for investment progress into energy from renewable sources
(using both quantitative and qualitative data) allow to assess the perspectives of investment projects
and their financial appeal. Based on the insights of the study, the thesis offers recommendations for
both investors and decision makers.
