Būsimųjų statutinių pareigūnių fizinio pajėgumo komponentų lyginamoji analizė 2010-2012 metais
Abstract
Female students’ physical fitness is an important psycho-physical basis for their future
professional activities. It is extremely important to pay more attention in solving female fitness problems. This research analyses the physical development, body mass composition and other
important physical fitness components of Mykolas Romeris University (MRU) female students
(n=131). In years of 2010-2011 and 2011-2012 the physical capacity was studied and compared with
the average results of female students from Kaunas University of Technology (KUT), Vytautas
Magnus University (VMU), Vilnius University (VU), Lithuanian University of Health Sciences
(LUHS), Klaipėda University (KU) and Aleksandras Stulginskis University (ASU). Research results
showed that female students explosive leg strength flexibility, palm static strength, core strength and
endurance performance statistically improved (p<0,01) between the tests. Waist and hip measurements
were lower than KU, KUT, and ASU female students. Among the tested females waist and hip
measurement ratios were significantly smaller than among other female students of Lithuanian
educational institutions. According to the recommendations of the World Health Organization future
female statutory officers’ BMI were in a normal body weight range.
