The work analyzes the implementation‘s problems of protective laws that govern employees interest in the case of transmission of the business or part of it. The work consists of three parts. In the first part the concept of transfer of business or part of it (in point of Lithuanian Labor Code 138 Article) is presented as the basis for respect for employees’ rights. In order to highlight the standards of the regulatory objectives the principle of stability of labor relations is introduced in the second part. The third part specifies the employer's obligations to employees transferring a business or part of it. The study concludes that the legislature imperatively indicates the specific duty upon the employer to protect employees’ rights in the case of transfer of businesses or part of businesses. This situation leads to the need to guarantee fundamental labor law principle - the principle of stability of labor relations, when the probability of damage it is very high.
