The article has analysed the dynamics of prime physical training results of upcoming statutory officers of the year 2003 – 2012 who started Tactical Self-defence and Tactical Wrestle Studies. The purpose of the article is to traverse the dynamics’ peculiarities of tested physical capabilities’ rates which were provided in the programmes of upcoming statutory officers’ studies in the period of the year 2003 – 2012. The planned goals to implement the provided aim are such as: - to evaluate the physical qualification of the examined students in a retrospective aspect in the period of the year 2003 – 2012; - to define the potential reasons of investigated capabilities rates’ change. The object and methods of the research have been presented. The prime testing results of physical capabilities of students of academic group (142 men and 134 women) who studied in the year 2003 – 2012 have been analysed in the article in accidental order. The audit method and exercises have been used to evaluate students’ physical capabilities such as: to value quickness – 100 m run, stamina – 3000 m run for men and 2000 m for women, precipitate power – long jump of a stand, abdomen press muscles’ power – to sit and lie in 30 s for women and foot lift to a rail by hanging in 30 s for men, arm muscles’ power – hands’ bend and reach by lying for women and pull-ups for men. To view the data of the research in a retrospective aspect it could be stated that the part of averages of group tests’ results have varied on the consistent deterioration’s direction (the growth of run time of 100 m, 2000 m and 3000 m). The results of tests of foot precipitate, abdomen press and arm muscles’ power of women groups have varied on the form of an oscillated graph throughout the time-period of the research. To compare with women the variations of average value of tests’ results which define the analogous physical capabilities of men were not so sudden in the second five-year of the research (in the year 2008 – 2012). The results of the time-period of the year 2008 – 2010 have spread on a relative line. A few more or less marked turning-points of average value deterioration (rise and fall) of tests’ results of questioned women and men have been determined throughout the period of the research. The first one was in 2006. The results of all tests of women groups of the year 2006 statistically surely (p<0,05) differed (were worse) from the averages of many tests’ results of the examined groups on the following year. The average rates of tests of men foot precipitate, abdomen press and arm muscles’ power statistically surely (p<0,05) differed from the averages of group tests’ results of the following year. The second turning-point and results’ deterioration occurred in the period of the year 2010 – 2011. Then the average value of all tests’ results of women and men began to decline (p<0,05). The prime physical training state of students could be estimated at the rates from “week” to “sufficient” during the period of the research. The averages of tests’ results (foot precipitate, abdomen press and arm muscles’ power) of women group of the year 2006 were valued as “insufficient”. To analyse the data, events and facts of the research of the appropriate year in the chronological sequence it could be supposed that the physical training regress of some examined groups could have been determined not only by absence of motivation but also by particular specific factors such as the limitations of education planning in comprehensive schools, economic factors and negative impact of legal acts i.e. the government funding for training of the police of middle and upper link and the officers of state border guard has been checked and fee-paying studies’ organisation has been regulated since 2009.
