Abstract
Studies of most authors shows unsatisfactory physical conditioning of students, their tendency towards bad habits. 16 – 19 percent students of university level are assigned to a special medical physical capacity group. In this situation perticular attention must be given to strengthen students need to form physical self-development and motivation. The goal of our research – evaluate Mykolas Romeris university Public safety faculty female students approach on special physical training. By method of questionaries 120 female students were questioned. Research showed that female students have positive standpoint on special physical training. The main factor, wich had positive influence on special physical training approach, was preparation for the future profesional activity and its importance in life. Books, media, and parents influence was minimal. Most of the respondents had strong need for own physical self-development and high motivation. The biggest obsticle of physical self-development is lack of sports facilities and inventory.
