Aim of Investigation: to investigate the main features of smoking and alcohol consumption of students, studying in Mykolas Romeris University. In the investigation 680 students – 360 girls and 320 boys, who entered the Faculty of Public Security in 2002 – 2008, participated. The analysis of the main features of negative influential factors for students' health was based on informants' answers to particular questions. The data of the investigation was analyzed according to statistical methods. According to statistical data every thirdly of female and every fifth of male responded wasn’t used alcoholic beverage. Males more often drink more beer and strong alcohol drinks, whereas females prefer wine and champagne. More than half of an informant does not smoke. Every tenth female and one third of males smokes daily (constantly). The rest part of informants smokes inconstantly. The average number of smoked cigarettes by smokers totals 7,6 cigarettes a day (4,5 cigarettes by females and 8,6 cigarettes by males).
