Abstract
Competence is used as an attribute of knowledge and skills to describe the lecturer's ability to perform tasks very well or institution's ability to provide high quality services. This work will be based on the concept of competence mentioned where competence is treated as a certain ability to adapt their skills to changing situations. In consequence competence is defined as the use of human power in a particular practice, which leads to an efficient and higher quality of work performance. It is not only the ability to find the necessary decisions in various situations, applying the knowledge, skills, but also an opportunity to express themselves. Physical education lecturer who has a lot of skills and knowledge to use them in the educational work, have the right to fully develop not only the physical characteristics of students, but also to educate the various competencies and payment to them in life, i.e. to prepare a future officer for the practice.
