Abstract
In the article the concepts of internal waters and jurisdiction are analysed. It is noted that the criminal jurisdiction in states internal waters was formed upon the decision of courts of France and Great Britain on the base of concrete criminal cases. Examples of court practice of those countries are given. 1958 Geneva Convention on the Territorial Sea and Adjacent Zona and the Regulations of 1982 UNO Convention on the Law of the Sea in the sphere of criminal jurisdiction are analysed.
