Abstract
In a shifting, wide and multiple context of the 21st century social work stimulating social change, emphasizing the problems solving, empowerment and liberation of people needs to remain visible in public. It may be effective to use the information technologies for building social work image. According to the growing importance of information technologies and information in the 21st century it‘s chosen to analyze a significance of the image to the social work, possibilities of the image’s maintenance in the social work and to reveal the social work image in Lithuanian websites. Data shows that there is no systematic information about social work websites in Lithuania. Access to the websites could be better as well. Many websites is only on the developing stage. Content analysis using keywords was made of chosen social work websites. It reveals that social work image is more neutral than propitious.
