The model of conjugality and family as the union between to persons – a man and a woman in the post-modern society every time experience more intense and crucial modifications. In the 20th century conjugality lost one of its traits that till then seemed to be inherent – permanence and longevity. So called divorce revolution determined that matrimony became a “serial” event in the life of individual as well as the fact that the number of children growing-up with only one of the parents raised considerably. This conditioned responsive appearances – a person who has been raised not in a full family himself is more susceptible to divorce as well as to choose numerous alternative forms of common life instead of conjugality. This way conjugality becomes not unique or at least principal way to organise one‘s family life and is necessitated to exist upstaged by various modes of cohabitation. The further modifications of conjugality and family concept has gone far denying the absolute of conjugality and family that is understood exclusively as the relation between persons of different sex – a man and a woman [...]
