Super and E. Ginzberg. These theories are fundamental for adolescents career counsellors in realizing pre-career programs. The aim of the paper is to analyze the factors promoting successful career planning and the professional choices of adolescents. The research method used is scientific literature analysis. 34 positions are analyzed, 7 of them in Lithuanian, 3 in Polish and 24 in English. The analysis of scientific literature can distinguish the main factors that contribute to successful adolescent career planning and professional choices. An important impact on adolescent vocational self-identity is made by relatives, teachers and friends. So, the important thing is to involve others, especially parents and teachers, in vocational counselling and intervention.
